Scented Breeze « Thread Started on Aug 3, 2007, 5:15pm »
A small she cat stood at the top of the bank with a smile on her face. A scent drifted from her fur. The smell of Cherry Blossoms. Or Sakura Trees(Cherry Blossom Trees). Her tortishell body was small, but for her size she could attack almost anything with ease. Her long tail swayed from side to side, fluffed up as it usually was. Her green eyes scanned below, as she seen a large fish swish its tail, and head off towards the river leading away from her swift and lethal body. I suppose I could go after it...but the rapids are too danerous. . . Ah well. . . Not quite leaf-bare yet. . .and I hope Stormstar doesn't mind. . . she thought silently.
She smiled again, thinking how wonderful it would be to have kits. She adored them, and wondered if someday she would ever have any kits of her own. She pushed the thought aside at the sound of somethig rustling along the lines where she was sitting. She curcle her tail neatly over her paws, and then twisted her head so she could see. "Stormstar? Is that you?"

Stormstar walked slowly along the edge of the river, a light breeze gently ruffling his fur. He carefully placed each paw down on the sand/rock shore trying not to step on anything sharp or in an odd shape. The wind shifted, putting his fur into it's normal place. He took a deep breath of the fresh air. A familiar scent was lingering in the air, it was coming closer. He knew this scent by heart. It was none other than the scent of Silentsong.
He quickly jumped into the shade of the bushes, hoping to surprise her. The air was slightly musty in the shade; he seemed to trapped in the thick branches and leaves. He let out a small cough just before she came into view.
He heard her say "Stormstar is that you?"
Stormstar slowly stepped out of the bushes. "Hi." He said, taking in a deep breath of the now cool, air.

When she figured it was Stormstar, she lifted to her paws, and then turned around. She slowly padded towards the sound, and then she heard a cough, that caused her to twitch her ears. She smiled, and the unforgettable scent drifted towards her, and Stormstar stepped out and greeted her. "Hello, Stormstar!" She padded closer to him, and gentally licked over his left ear, and placed herself at his side.

Stormstar smiled. He gazed out across the water, seeing something without realy seeing anything. He shook his head and turned to Silentsong. "So what are you up to?" he asked. He knew it was an ovious question, but he loved hearing the sweet sound of her voice. The light wind pulled around them whispering the thoughts of nothing. It was strange, that wind. It seemed to draw Stormstar closer to her, to feel what she felt.

Silentsong looked around, and then out to where her mate was gazing. Had he seen something? Then she turned to look at the tom when he had questioned her. [b]"Oh..nothing really. I came out here to get away from camp for a while. It isn't all fun being cramed into a nursery or warriors den exactly, but kits are fun to keep you company," she mewed with a small purr in her throat.

"Yes, camp is pretty busy today." He said with a smile. Kits... he thought, a purr rising in his throat. There was that thing again. It danced across the water, spiraling and twirling. It seemed to be whispering to Stormstar, telling him to just say what he wanted to say. "Do you... Want kits...?" He asked cautiously, hoping that she would agree. The thing seemed to make a gesture of happiness. What was it? Was it a mere thing of his imagination or a sign?

"Hmm.." she said, agreeing with Stormstar. Then, when she heard him purr, it made her happy, like a bird fluttering free from a cage. Then, her ears pricked, and moved slightly forward, and she turned her head to him, as he asked the question it seemed she had been dying to hear for so long. She looked deep into his eyes, and nodded. "I really would like kits. They would keep me company when you're gone.." She smiled, and looked out across the water, and she seen something. Something that too Stormstar must have seen aswell.
It danced cross the water, spiraling and twirling. She smiled. What is that thing..? she wondered, and a louder purr grew from deep withing her throat.

Stormstar purred even louder. He was relieved that she had said yes, but he was happy as he could be. He licked her cheek and gazed out to the water yet again. He wondered if she saw it too. Kits... He thought with a happy sigh. "Do you want to do some hunting, walk around, or go back to camp and try to organize everything?" He asked, knowing he should go back to camp and set up the patrols. He wanted to spend time with her though.

Silentsong smiled, and then got up, and stretched. She looked out across the water, and smiled. Kits...would be so lovely..and that would mean..more RiverClan warriors She looked at Stormstar when he spoke. "Well, you should probley get back to camp and organize things, but it would be nice if you took a break once in a while." She smiled looking at the water, and she looked up in the air, as a cherry blossom drifted over her, and out over and into the river. She shook her head, and then looked down at her paws.

"Yes, your right." He said with a sigh. He slowly got up and shook the sand off of his paws. He saw a single flower drift out and land in the water. He licked her ear. "I'll see you around." He said, slowly starting to make his way back to camp...

Silentsong sighed, and then yawned gaping her jaws. She then looked to the sky, shaking sand from her paws, and she then followed Stormstar back to camp, and was going to try and help out whatever he was doing.
